Playfair's Cover Cricketers

Since 1963, Playfair have produced a pocket sized Annual full of stats, biographies and fixtures for the forthcoming English cricketing summer.

This may be an alien prospect to those overseas, but in England it is a go to info packed booklet to guide you through the season.

Every year, the most eminent player of the previous 12 months usually makes it onto the front cover, although there is little repetition. The 2021 version is set to feature Zak Crawley on its front cover (available on Amazon and all good book stores!)

More often than not, as this is an English publication, the front cover star is usually an English Test player however there are occasional shifts away to other fantastic cricketers at the time.

In recent years the Playfair Cricket Annual has also included a sleeve photo which has included as its subjects in recent years: Eoin Morgan, Sam Curran, Heather Knight and Chris Woakes (none of whom feature in the quiz!)
