Next week marks the beginning of a brand new T20 league, the SA20.
Whilst South Africa have had major T20 franchise tournaments in the past, this one is packed with world class players, unsurprising considering every franchise is owned by an IPL team.
These links will most likely only get closer as the years go by too.
More than any other nation, English players are well represented in this tournament.
There are no Australian players due to the ongoing Big Bash League, the same with Banglasdeshi representation. The Kiwi cohort are limited due to the Super Smash but Jimmy Neesham and James Fuller are still turning out in the competition.
